Serious injury in crash north of Elkford
On June 4, Elk Valley RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle roll over accident on the Elk Lakes Forest Service Road, approximately 15 km north of Elkford.
Two men were in the vehicle at the time of the roll over. One man who sustained serious injuries was transported to the Foothills Hospital in Calgary by STARS Air Ambulance (pictured).
The other man, with minor injuries, was treated at the Elkford Health Centre and released.
“Alcohol was not determined to be the cause of the accident. There was no insurance on the vehicle plus a wrong numbered plate,” reported Cst. Debra Katerenchuk of Elk Valley RCMP
Elk Valley RCMP continue with its investigation.
