Check out Griz Days’ Snow Sculpture Carving
As part of 2020 Griz Days world class snow sculpture artist Peter Vogelaar will be coming to town to create his magic in snow.
Peter will be leading a snow carving workshop at Fernie Alpine Resort for local artists. This free event is sponsored by Griz Days.
Participants will be led through the various steps of snow sculpting a four-foot-high block of snow. The sculptures will then be displayed during activities in the Fernie Alpine Resort Plaza including a barbecue, refreshment garden and Dummy Downhill presentations.
The public will be asked to vote on the crowd favourite.
Snow carving will run from 10 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Fernie Alpine Resort on Sunday, March 8.
