Fernie Mayor presented with first poppy
City of Fernie Mayor Ange Qualizza receives the first poppy of the season from the Fernie Legion’s Beverley Skaalrud as part of the 2020 National Poppy Campaign, which kicked off today, October 30.
They are also wearing cloth poppy masks, hand-sewn by the Legion and available for purchase at the Legion and at City Hall for $20. Quantities are limited, so plan to purchase yours soon!
