Fernie Search and Rescue (SAR) was tasked by the RCMP yesterday afternoon (Jan. 28) to respond to an injured hiker in the Ridgemont trail network.

Four Fernie SAR Techs responded via snowmobile, immobilized the hiker’s injured lower leg and transported them out of the area and handed her off to BC Ambulance, SAR reported on social media.
