Fernie Youth Art Collective starting in October
Get ready for the Fernie Youth Art Collective!
This program provides a supportive environment for kids to express themselves while learning new art applications. This youth program has guest teachers each week to help teach the kids different art mediums!
From October 13 to Nov. 17 at The Arts Station is a youth program (ages 11 to 15) with guest teachers each week to help teach the kids different art mediums! 3D sculptures, painting, drawing and much more! At the end of the program we will be hosting an art show to show their amazing creations!
Guest teachers:
Week 1 Oct 13: Renne Hooper – Mixed Media;
Week 2 Oct 20: Dejana Lukas- Drawing – Tackle light, colour, and texture;
Week 3 Oct 27: Joni Bouchard – Art on Canvas;
Week 4 Nov 3: Dejana Lukas – 3D sculpture/ painting;
Week 5 Nov 10: Dejana Lukas – Acrylic Painting – texture on canvas;
Week 6 Nov 17 : Joni Bouchard – Calligraphy/cards & sugar scrubs.
