Free arts and culture grant writing workshops

Want to learn more about how to apply for arts and culture grants delivered by the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance (CKCA)?

Attend a free workshop with Krista Patterson, who will share how to apply and what to expect from the application process.

Individuals working in all artistic disciplines as well as arts and cultural organizations residing in the Columbia Basin are invited to attend the workshops.

Columbia Basin Trust’s arts and culture grants are managed and administered by CKCA. The Trust proudly supports initiatives and projects that highlight Basin arts and culture, and for 2018/19, the arts and culture grant program allocation is $750,000.

Workshops are free. Pre-registration is required. Locations, dates and times are as follows: 

Fernie – Friday, Feb. 23. 5 – 7 p.m.  Hosted by the Fernie & District Arts Council. Location: The Arts Station – Upstairs Room, 601 1st Avenue, Fernie.

Creston – Saturday, Feb. 24, 2 – 4 p.m. Hosted by the Creston Community Arts Council. Location: Creston & District Community Complex, Sunshine Room, 312 – 19th Ave. North, Creston.

Revelstoke – Thursday, Feb. 8, 3 – 5 p.m. Hosted by the Revelstoke Arts Council. Location: Okanagan College – Room #104 – 1401 West 1st Street.

Crescent Valley – Saturday Feb. 10, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Hosted by the Slocan Valley Arts Council. Location: Crescent Valley Hall, 1385 Hwy. 6, Crescent Valley

Online Workshops – Tues. Feb. 13, 9 – 11 a.m. PT

Thurs. Feb. 22, 2 – 4 p.m. PT

Mon. Feb 26, 6 – 8 p.m. PT
