Join the Plein Air Pod starting June 1
Explore Plein Air painting with other artists in a new location each week!
The latest Fernie and District Arts Council/The Arts Station workshop is designed to get you outside and paint with a pod that has the same love for art.
Plein Air painting is about expressing your impression in a simplified manner in a short amount of time. (because the lighting is constantly changing). It is about engaging with your subject on a more intimate level by learning from painting from real life and immersing yourself in the landscape.
This Plein Air Pod is not led by a teacher; encouraging you to collaborate with the other artists and learn new things from each other!
Every Tuesday we will meet at a new location that will be provided the week prior! Participants will paint and create from 2-4 p.m.
You are more than welcome to stay longer and continue your work!
Pre-registration will be required to meet COVID-19 requirements – subject to change and materials are required.
