Outdoor Rink closed for season
The City of Fernie Feb. 27 announced that the Outdoor Community Rink is closed for the season.
“Thank you to the community volunteers and visitors for another successful season at the Outdoor Community Rink. Due to sunny days and warmer temperatures, ice surface conditions are no longer safe for skating,” the city reported on its website.
“For your safety, we ask that you adhere to posted signage and remain off the ice surface. We look forward to seeing you back next year!
Still looking for public skate and open ice times, view the Fernie Memorial Arena programming on the city website.
