The City of Fernie today reported its street sweeping team is ahead of schedule and will begin their final street sweeping pass on Monday, May 10.

The remaining schedule:

Maintown – May 10 (one day);

Annex – May 11 (one day);

Mountview – May 11 (one day);

Parkland/Alpine/Ghostrider – May 12 (one day);

Castle/Montane/Coal Creek Road/Pine Crescent/Cokato – May 12 (one day);

Ridgemont – May 13 (one day);

Riverside/Cedars – May 13 (one day).

Please refrain from parking on streets in the area on these days.

Sweeping may run from 7 a.m. to midnight. The city reserves the right to change the schedule on short notice to adjust for weather, breakdowns, and unforeseen events.
