RDEK public hearing in Jaffray Jan. 2
The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) is holding a public hearing Jan. 2 covering a bylaw amendment that will allow for a property rezoning.
The property in question is located on Thistle Road adjacent to Tie Lake.
The regional board passed the first two readings of Bylaw No. 2956, ‘Regional District of East Kootenay – Jaffray, Tie Lake, Rosen Lake Land Use and Floodplain Management Bylaw No. 1414, 1999 – Amendment Bylaw No. 32, 2019 (Tie Lake / Fenwick)’ on Dec. 6.
If amended, the property designation will change from RS-1, Single Family Residential Zone to RS-1(A), Single Family Residential (A) Zone.
The public hearing will be held on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Jaffray Community Hall.
