The East Kootenay Division of Family Practice is hosting four upcoming community events around maternity care in the Elk Valley, including one this evening at the Fernie Curling Club.

The meetings are open to all community members, who are invited to attend and learn about and share thoughts on the Elk Valley Rural Maternity Initiative.

The other three meetings are at: Sparwood Oct 17 – at the Sparwood Curling Club; South Country Oct 23, at the Tobacco Plains Band Hall and in Elkford Oct 24 at the Conference Centre.

All meetings begin at 5 p.m. and run to 7 p.m.
