The District of Sparwood is advising residents that the municipality will be temporarily closing a portion of Heritage Park, the Elk River Trail and in the final stage of work on Well 4 Watermain Construction – a section of Pine Avenue as outlined in red in the map above.

To facilitate the installation of the watermain and protect public safety residents can expect marked closures in these areas beginning September 23, and continued until such time that construction is complete.

Please obey all signs and marked trailhead closures.
