Sparwood property tax payment due today
The due date for District of Sparwood 2020 property taxes is today, Monday, July 6.
A 10% penalty will be applied to current year property taxes that remain outstanding after the due date.
Even if a bank is paying the taxes through a mortgage, homeowners who qualify must still claim the Homeowner Grant, the district said.
The 10% penalty will also be applied to any grant amount outstanding after the due date. Homeowners who have not received a tax notice should come into the district office to obtain a duplicate copy.
