Bids being accepted for Marysville Falls Walkway

The Rotary Club of Kimberley is pleased to announce that it has received funding to proceed with the rebuild of the Marysville Falls Walkway.

Funds have been generously provided by: BC Community Economic Recovery Infrastructure Program; Columbia Basin Trust Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Program; Columbia Basin Trust Trail Enhancement Program; Home Depot; and the City of Kimberley.

We have recently put the walkway rebuild work out for tender and we invite area contractors to review the tender information and submit bids.

The project scope entails all necessary labour, equipment, materials and tools for the supply and installation of approximately 150 metres of upgraded and accessible boardwalk structure and 150 metres of asphalt surfaced pathway from the existing Mark Creek pedestrian bridge to the Marysville Falls Lookout in Kimberley.

The tender information can be viewed online.

Bids must be submitted by July 30, 2021
