Boil water notice for Matthew Creek users
A boil water notice is now in effect for Kimberley residents on the Matthew Creek water system, including Marysville, Kimberley Golf Course, Riverside Campground, River Bend Lane, River Bend Road, River Ridge Way, Tamarack Lane and Sunflower Drive.
The notice began at 9 a.m on. Monday, October 16.
The City of Kimberley monitors water quality on a daily basis and assesses it according to the Turbidity Index. The Turbidity Index on the website is updated every weekday with the turbidity results.
Turbidity is the cloudiness or haziness of a fluid caused by large numbers of individual particles that are generally invisible to the naked eye, similar to smoke in air. The measurement of turbidity is a key test of water quality.
