COVID claiming two major community events again

Marysville Daze 2019

The COVID-19 pandemic and its third wave is causing the cancellation again of two major community events in Kimberley.

Steven Royer, President of the Mark Creek Lions Club, today reported that Marysville Daze 2021 is cancelled again due to COVID.

And for the second straight year Kimberley’s biggest event, and one of the region’s largest and longest running annual events, is being kept shuttered.

Kimberley Chamber of Commerce reports that JulyFest 2021 is being cancelled.

JulyFest is always held in the third week of July while Marysville Daze is traditionally held on the first Sunday in June.
