KIS hosting upcoming Kindergarten Information Night

Kimberley Independent School (KIS) welcomes all families to its Kindergarten Information Night on Tuesday, March 3 from 5-6:30 p.m.

The Information Night will include tours of the school and classroom, a presentation and Q&A, and a chance to meet the teacher.

Kimberley Independent School provides an inclusive learning environment where children are engaged in rich, meaningful experiences to inspire lifelong learning. Highlights include small class sizes (maximum 16), daily French, after-school care until 5:30, “flex-friday” programming such as cooking, STEM, and skiing, enriched physical education such as gymnastics, rock climbing and swimming, and place-based learning through many field trips each year.

“We’re excited for families who have children entering Kindergarten next year to come and meet us and see what we’re about,” says principal Kari Johnston. “We are proud to serve our Kimberley community by providing a nurturing and stimulating educational environment.”

Registration for Kimberley Independent School opens to the public on March 2. For more information, visit the school’s website at kis.ca.

Kimberley Independent School is located in Kimberley’s Chapman Camp neighbourhood at 73 101 Ave.
