North Star Ski-Mo Race March 15
Kimberley Alpine Resort is inviting competitors to take part in the annual North Star Ski-Mo Race.
The race will start at 11 a.m. in the Kimberley Alpine Resort Plaza on Sunday, March 15.
Participants follow the skin track up Boundary to Kootenay Haus then transition and ski back down to the plaza.
Win a trip of a lifetime to Boulder Hut Adventures. All you have to do register and complete the North Star Ski-Mo race in under two hours.
All AT -Gear, splitboards, tele-mark are welcome. Atmosphere will be extremely friendly and a great way to be introduced to the sport! Dress up attire encouraged – bonus prize for best costume!
The main prize – a half week trip to Boulder Hut Adventures in 2021 – is a draw prize worth $1,810.
A $20 early entry fee ($25 day of) includes: burger and beverage and a draw ticket for prizes.
Categories: Youth (17 and under), Male and Female Open (18-49), Masters Male and Female (50+). Register now at Kimberley Alpine Resort Guest Services, online or on the day from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. in Slopeside.
Mandatory Safety Meeting: 10:45 a.m. at start line-be ready to race.
Awards and prizes at the Ski – Mo Social in Stemwinder Bar and Grill following race.
Helmets are required; no cross-country skis allowed.
