Kimberley Alpine Resort held its Spring Splash on Saturday, April 6.

As part of the season finale up to 100 participants ski down and attempt to cross a pool of very cold water. Some make it, many don’t. Just Liquid was on hand to assist them.

Sam Diaz, five (lead image), is an international student from Spain who embraced skiing. Not being used to the cold climate didn’t dissuade him from taking part. He skied 25 days and finished up the season with a splash.

In fact afterward he commented the air was warm compared to the water!
