Shuswap Band hosts day of celebration
Shuswap Band council and community June 22 hosted a National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration, with guests from near and far attending.
National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration is a day recognizing and celebrating the cultures and contributions of the First Nations, Inuit and Métis Indigenous peoples of Canada
Cultural demonstrations along with food and craft vendors made for a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
