Wild and Spartans competing in Langley provincials

Reyce Johnston won some Beats at the Opening Ceremonies.

The Mount Baker Secondary School Wild Senior Boys’ Basketball teams arrived in Langley March 7 for the 2017 BC High School Boys Basketball Championships.

The Wild opened the tournament tough against the top ranked team in the Boys 4A division – Walnut Grove Gators and this morning they are taking on the Semiahmoo Totems.

The Baker boys aren’t the only East Kootenay squad taking part in the 2017 BC High School Boys 4A Basketball Championships (March 8-11).

The Sparwood Secondary School Spartans are taking part in the 1A Boys bracket.

Sparwood opened with a 68-47 win in its first game against King David yesterday and are taking on Heritage Christian later this afternoon.
