Meet Jason Wheeldon: Real Estate Update

East Kootenay News Online Weekly (e-KNOW) is proud to welcome Cranbrook resident Jason Wheeldon to our Writers’ Village.

Jason grew up in the East Kootenay and has been living in the area for 30 years. He is married with two daughters. Jason is firmly committed to the community.

Jason’s strength as a REALTOR® in the Cranbrook and area real estate sector begins with his commitment to the community in which he and his family live. Wheeldon is a former president of the Cranbrook & District Chamber of Commerce, and served on its Board of Directors for over 10 years. He was also a member of the executive of the British Columbia Chamber of Commerce. He has been involved with several not-for-profit organizations serving Cranbrook, including the Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club and Big Brothers and Sisters.

Jason was named as the Cranbrook and District Chamber of Commerce’s 2012 Citizen of the Year. “For over 20 years Jason has made an indelible mark on this community as a mentor, volunteer, chair and coordinator for community projects, sporting activities and charitable events,” said outgoing chamber president Lana Kirk. “He’s a very deserving recipient.”

Jason’s first column follows this introduction.
