Rotary Auction returns May 8/9
The Rotary Club of Cranbrook is holding the annual Rotary Auction on May 8 and 9.
“This is a service project in support of local and international Rotary projects and one of our main fundraisers throughout the year. Future local projects include the improvement and enhancement of the Rotary Way Trails and Rotary Park,” explained Jody Burk and Sandy Zeznik, Rotary Club of Cranbrook auction co-chairs.
“Some of our recent local projects include Rotary Band Stand, Rotary Way connectors, Cranbrook Arches project, the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel, and our annual Seniors Christmas Dinner. We support, through donations and hard work many other community groups and initiatives, including the United Way, Cranbrook Food Bank, East Kootenay Regional Hospital, and the Public Library,” they stated, adding, “Internationally, we partner with the Rotary Foundation to work on eliminating polio worldwide and have participated in many projects in third world countries.”
With that in mind, the Rotary Club is welcoming donations or other forms of support to help them raise funds.
Here are some options to provide support:
A donation of goods or services from your company or one of your suppliers; A gift certificate from your company or a supplier; A gift certificate from a local restaurant or theatre; Ticket to a local event or a cash donation.
However you choose to participate, your contribution will be advertised and acknowledged during the Rotary Auction, as well as appearing in the program flyer.
