Elda Chatterson was born on April 18th, 1928 in Natal, B.C. She was the middle daughter of Josephine and Joseph Baggio. On March 5, 1948 she married Orval Chatterson and had three young boys. In 1954 they moved to Sparwood, and in 1966 her daughter Shelley completed the family. Elda was never idle, she was always busy sewing, knitting, gardening and hosting family gatherings.
Elda is survived by her son Wesley (Joanne), and her daughter Shelley (Dennis), grandchildren Anika, Kari (Curtis), Karla (Scott), Brent (Kari), Keith and Tridene, and great grandchildren Kobe, Kourtney, Brayden, Kurtis, and Kyle. She was predeceased by her husband Orval Chatterson, sons Glen and Roy, and sisters Nellie Repka and Loretta Doratty.
