Alice-Mae Biddlecombe
April 18, 1931 – January 14, 2013
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alice-Mae Biddlecombe, wonderful wife, best friend and soul mate of Frank Biddlecombe. As she left us, she was surrounded with the love of Frank and her children, Lynda, Wendy (Philip), Ian (Rae), Pam (Dale) and Craig and grandchildren Lisa and Troy. Mae also had 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Gone on before Mae were her parents John Harlow and Mae Scott, step-father John Scott, son-in-law Don, and grandson Sean.
In 1951, while working at Fabro’s, Mae met and married Frank, settling into raise her family. During this time mom was active with many things, including being secretary for the Senior Citizen Association, president and secretary for the East Kootenay Vintage Car Club bowling and PTA. Mae also enjoyed swimming, knitting and sewing.
Family was important to Mae and she enjoyed the growth as her children married, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren came along to share in her life.
