With loved ones at his bedside, 85 year old Bruno Paron passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, June 11, 2013.
Bruno was born in Arzene, Italy on March 5, 1928 to parents Tony and Maria Paron. For 31/2 years Bruno worked in the mines of Belgium until 1951 when he immigrated to Canada. In 1953, via Proxy, Bruno married Maria Berto, the beautiful Italian girl who captured his heart during a two year long distance relationship. Maria joined Bruno in Canada and together the couple raised 3 children and would have celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary this summer. Bruno’s greatest joy in life was being with his family, and they will miss the sound of him whistling a happy tune and greeting them with a warm smile.

Bruno will be dearly missed by Maria, his wife of 59 years, 3 children: Anthony (Deborah) Paron, Luciana (Greg) Derkach, and Bruna (Mark) Paniec, 6 grandchildren: Tara (Jaret) Bogusky, Chad (Brandy) Paron, Nathan Paron, Dustin (Ashley) Derkach, Lance (Stephanie) Derkach and Amy Paniec, 6 great grandchildren: Morgan, Erikah & Kendyl Bogusky, Emma & Isabella Paron and Chase Derkach, and his brother Moris (Irma) Paron and his nephew Mark. He was predeceased by his parents Maria and Tony Paron, and his grandson Christopher Paniec.
