HUMPHREY: David Lawrence

January 12, 1951 – May 26, 2015

Dave “Sparky” Humphrey, beloved husband of Marie Humphrey and father of Farrah Fudge and Brett Humphrey went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2015, at the age of 64 years. Dave is survived by his wife Marie, daughters Farrah and Krista and son Brett, as well as grandchildren; James, Michael and Rebecca. Dave was a friendly man and would converse with anyone he would meet on the street. He was a reliable and devoted Legion member for over 25 years, serving as Sargent at Arms. He served faithfully in his home church, preparing bulletins, letters, marriage and funeral programs, as well as helping to prepare morning coffee. He also lovingly and joyfully greeted all who entered the church each Sunday. He loved the Lord with all his heart and he will be greatly missed. Dave served in the Canadian Military Peace Keeping Forces for 7 years. He was also a painter by trade. When he could, Dave loved to volunteer to cook for church barbeques and spent time in some of his early days as a restaurant cook.
