Hancock, Edna Marguerite (nee Tyerman)

Edna Marguerite Hancock of Cranbrook, BC passed away peacefully in the East Kootenay Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 27, 2015 at the age of 97 years.  Edna was born in Tessier, Saskatchewan on July 19, 1918.  On September 30, 1943 she married her husband, Maurice.  In 1946 they moved to Cranbrook.

Edna is survived by her two sons; Bob (Donna) and Bill (Heather) and her son-in-law, Buck of Parksville, BC.  Also left are two brothers, Gordon (Kay) of Calgary, Alberta and Lloyd of Strathmore, Alberta as well as six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Edna is predeceased by her parents, her loving husband Maurice after 54 years of marriage, one son, one daughter,  one  grandchild, six sisters and three brothers.

There will be no funeral service at this time.  A graveside service will be held for Edna at a later date for friends and family.  Edna was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
