Elsie Stahl passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on October 21, 2015 at the Elk Valley Hospital. Elsie was born on December 17, 1933 to Emma and Jacob Stahl in Hilda, Alberta. She was the second oldest of five children. She was predeceased by her parents, Emma and Jacob, her brother Harold, and sisters Violet (Alex) Edwards, and Dorothy Stahl. Elsie leaves behind to mourn her passing, her sister Edna (Elmer) Mathias of Taggish, YK, stepbrothers Peter (Irene) Edwards of BirchHills, SK, and Albert (Joan) Edwards of Cranbrook, BC, and her stepsister Annie Myrtle Lavassour of Iricanna, AB, as well as many nieces and nephews. For the past 6 years Elsie has resided in Sparwood, BC, with her nephew Harold (Melody) Edwards. Elsie loved to crochet and sew. She loved to garden and especially loved to be outdoors. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
