Holland, Gwenllian Mary Gwen (nee Jones)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gwen (Gwellian) Mary Holland of Kimberley, BC, on , Friday, January 22, 2016 at the age of 86 years. Gwen will be sadly missed by her family, friends and by the many Kimberley volunteer groups she participated in. Gwen was born in Revelstoke, BC and moved to Kimberley in the 1940’s where she met and married Roy Holland. Gwen, married to Roy and mother of Christopher, was a retired hospital employee. She was an avid reader – using Chris’s and her library cards to borrow the maximum number of books the library would allow. A celebration of Gwen’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kimberley Helping Hands Food Bank Society, 340 Leadenhall St., Kimberley, BC  V1A 2B1.
