Obituary for Harold Paul Holman
Harold Paul Holman
1942 – 2013
It is with deep sadness that the family of Harold Paul Holman announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, August 6, 2013.
Harold was born in Edson, Alberta on January 22, 1942. During his lifetime he worked as a high pressure welder and his home base was in Vancouver. His work sent him all over Alberta and British Columbia. He was a hard worker and enjoyed socializing with his friends in a local watering hole.
He moved to Marysville in July of 1987 to be closer to his sister Joyce. He enjoyed his time with friends and family. He is predeceased by his mother Margaret S.B. Holman, father Jonathan Paul Holman, and his sister Margaret Louise Prylowski (Nick). He is survived by his sister, Joyce Yasensky (John), Sharon Holman, Arlin Bell, numerous nieces and nephews, and his close friend Roy Mayne.
There will be no service at Harold’s request. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that a donation be made to the Kimberley Helping Hands Food Bank Society, 340 – Leadenhall Street, Kimberley, British Columbia, V1A 2R6.
