Jane Kempton McGregor
1921 – 2015

Jane McGregor passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Kimberley Special Care Home at 94 years of age.

Jane was born on March 1, 1921 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She had a sharp wit and was quick with a joke. Jane was involved for many years with the Kimberley Quilters Club and was an active member of the Pythian Sisters. She was well known for her open-armed welcomes, taking time to listen and was always ready to help. Jane enjoyed a good hand of crib and cross country skiing to exercise her mind and body.

Jane is survived by her granddaughter Christel (Andre) Leonhardt, grandson Warren (Alison) Leonhardt, and her five great grandchildren Aaron, Ada, Astrid, Alex and Jack. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Muriel Power, her husband Grant McGregor (1997) and by her son Clifford Bruce Leonhardt (2004).

A service for Jane will be held at a later date.
