Joan Mary Lenoch, mom and grandma, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at home in the Joseph Creek Care Facility in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 87 years of age.
Joan was born on October 10, 1925 in Sourbridge, England and mom was proud of her British heritage “I was born British as she used to say.” She was a fearlessly independent and dignified lady, but also a loving mom and grandma. We will miss her.
Joan is survived by her daughter Gretchen (Art) Bryant; grandsons Jason (Stacy) and Brett (Kendra); great grandchildren Colt, Beau, Gage, Olivia, Whitney and Lehtyn Bryant; one brother Derek (Audrey) Roberts of England; nieces and nephews and a very special friend Josie Templeton. She was predeceased by her husband Ken Lenoch in 1975, her brother John Roberts and her sister Muriel Hughes.
