John Gibson Todhunter
April 26, 1933 – May 29, 2015
John passed away in the early hours of May 29th with his special companion Fay by his side. John is survived by his daughter Melody, his sister Mary (Dave) Becktold, his brother Bill (Maxine), many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
John was the oldest child born to Gib and Nina Todhunter in Fernie, BC. He was raised in Elko and attended school in Elko and Waldo. John was an avid outdoorsman. He was a true cowboy, a great storyteller and a great entertainer. John marched to his own drummer, loved and enjoyed life to the fullest. Anyone who knew him, loved him and he leaves behind many family, friends and special companion Fay Riley. He will be missed by all.
At John’s request, there will be no funeral service.
