Lucas Nathanial Earl Powell
January 31, 1991 – August 28, 2015

Lucas Nathanial Earl Powell was born on January 31, 1991 in Kimberley, BC. He passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 in Maple Ridge, BC.

Lucas was well known as the kid with a huge heart, whose smile and laugh could brighten anyone’s day.

Lucas will be sadly missed by his mother Debbie Powell (Niels Olesen), his older brother Dustin Powell (Nikki), his older sister Shannon Powell, his beloved nieces and nephews Kyra, Morgan, Emily, Joseph, Jayden and James, his grandparents Tony and Sharon Hemmelgarn as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins including his best friend Mat Hemmelgarn. Lucas was predeceased by his father Jim Powell and his grandparents Harold and Emily Powell.

A celebration of life for Lucas will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Kimberley Pentecostal Church in Meadowbrook.

Such a beautiful soul gone too soon. We will always remember your bright light and smile.
