Passed Away: August 13, 2015 in Marysville, BC
Age: 84
Mom grew up in a time of limitations, especially for women. She never accepted that belief. She raised all of her 5 children with unconditional love and support. She instilled a belief in each of us that with hard work we were capable of anything. No words can express our gratitude. We all believed we were the favourite and kept our secret to the end.
She was a strong, intelligent woman who’s quick wit and unwavering positive outlook will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A small family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Mae’s honour can be made to the: East Kootenay S.P.C.A., PO Box 2, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 4H6 or the Kimberley Health Care Auxiliary, 617 – 304th Street, Kimberley, British Columbia, V1A 3H5.
