Shirley Delaine Lukan

1945 – 2013

Shirley Delaine Lukan passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Cranbrook, British Columbia on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 67 years of age.

Shirley was born on March 28, 1945 in Cranbrook. She had a magnificent spirit and was a very outgoing woman. Shirley enjoyed camping and the outdoors. She also loved to laugh and be gathered around her family and friends as often as possible.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband Ed; her son Tom, daughter Debbie, son Darren and son Warren; her eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandma Mae Erickson, Ivor Erickson and her brother Arnold Erickson.

A memorial service for Shirley will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Shirley may do so to the: Canadian Cancer Society, 19 – 9th Avenue South, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2L9.
