Gladys Mildred Papp of Sparwood, BC passed away in Calgary,AB on April 14, 2016 at the age of 73. She was born in Edmonton, AB on August 13, 1942 to parents John and Zenovia (Melnychuk) Stewart.
Gladys moved to Sparwood in the early 80’s where she lived until her passing. She was an avid gardener, planting her beautiful roses and snapdragons, as well as her abundant vegetable gardens. Gladys loved her cats and her books. You could always find her at the mall, telling a good story and chatting it up with everyone. Most of all, Gladys was a dedicated, giving and very loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by many.
Gladys was survived by her husband Robert Papp; her children: Rosa Morrone (Kenny Bradshaw), JJ Morrone (Crystal Sharkey), Mario (Tracy) Morrone, Lisa Papp (Terry Kootnikoff), Roy (Kim) Papp, Tracey Paulson, and Gordon (Xuan) Papp, and her grandchildren: Arien, Tiffany, Tyrel, Anthony, Kimberley, Talon, Arya and Emily, as well as many other relatives and friends. Gladys was predeceased by her parents and her sister Elizabeth.
