Obituary for Harper Victoria Ann Musso

HarperMUSSO, Harper Victoria Ann

Dates:
Birth date: November 24, 2014
Death date: February 22, 2015

Obituary:

Our beautiful daughter Harper was delivered by caesarean section at the Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie on November 24, 2014. Upon delivery, doctors noticed an abnormal distention of her abdomen. Harper was immediately airlifted to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, where further testing revealed stage 4 Neoblastoma. During her brief life, Harper endured chemotherapy, CT scans, biopsies and blood tests in efforts to save her life. On February 14th, we were able to bring Harper home for the first time; a rest period between chemotherapy rounds before returning to Calgary. Sadly, this was not to be; our precious baby girl died at home in our arms on Sunday, February 22nd.

God sent you a little Angel
But only for a while;
She brought a little message,
She came to make you smile.
He sent you a fighter
Her pain we’ll never know;
Until God looked down and saw her,
To finally take her home.
Soar, tiny angel
Over the clouds above;
Soar, littlest Angel,
And go with all our love.

Harper is lovingly survived by her mommy and daddy, Stephanie Hutchinson and Gino Musso; grandparents Gary and Darlene Hutchinson and Louie and Sheri Musso; her auntie and uncle, Tasha and Albert Johnson; cousins Heidi and Autumn Johnson; aunties Alyssa and Amanda Musso, and great grandparents Cliff and Joyce Hutchinson, Jim and Sue Pidgeon, Irene Nadain and Norm and Rosemary Meadows.

Harper’s life left tiny footprints on the hearts of so many; she will never be forgotten!
