Obituary:
Born in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan to Marie-Ann and Andre Beaubien. Joe passed away peacefully at his home in Sparwood, BC, with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughter Shelly (Bryant) and her children Amanda and Justin, son Gerald (Vicki) and his children Jason, Kaylee, Emily and Desmond, as well as 6 brothers, 4 sisters and many other family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Stuckey, Carol Rollick and the home care team for all of their care and attention they provided to Joe and his family prior to his passing.
Memorials:
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joe’s name to: British Columbia and Yukon Division, Canadian Cancer Society, 5650 West 10th Ave, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 4J4.
Service:
1:00 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2014 At Joe’ s request, his family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Kikomun Creek Provincial Park at the boat launch on Lake Koocanusa. Please join them for a bonfire and wiener roast. Please bring your own chairs and roasting sticks.
