Kari Hegg

March 1, 1916 – November 11, 2013

Kari was born and raised in Norway and moved to Cranbrook in 1992 with her husband, Petter, to be closer to her son, Per-Arne, and his family. She felt at home in the area and enjoyed nothing more than trekking through the local forests accompanied by her family and her beloved dogs. Kari stayed fit and active throughout her life and could be found until recently exercising at Curves gym three days a week.

Kari is survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol, her grandchildren, Paul (Erin) and Elisa (Jason), and her four great grandchildren, Livia, Jack, Mina, and Desmond. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
