Marian Laverne Martin
1947 – 2013
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Marian Martin announces her passing on Sunday, October 6, 2013 in Cranbrook at 66 years of age.
Marian was born on January 20, 1947 in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan. She enjoyed the “odd” game of bingo. Marian was proud of her pride and joys – her seven grandchildren. She was so happy when they were around, whether it was one at a time or seven at a time. Marian will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Marian will be missed by her loving husband Bill of 48 years, her children Sherri (Tim), Nadene (Albert) and Brad, her grandchildren Kayleigh, Dayton, Tianna, Sarah, Taryn, Chris and Justin, her brother Richard (Carol), her sister Doreen, her very special niece Ashley, numerous nieces and nephews, her sisters-in-law Helen Grieve and Maryanne (Ken) Bonderoff and her brother-in-law Rob (Joanne) Martin. Marian was predeceased by her parents Roland and Ethel Migneault, her nephew Ken Migneault and brothers-in-law Don Martin and Rick Grieve.
At Marian’s request, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Marian’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm in the Heritage Inn Ball Room.
