William Heinrich Harlos

William Harlos passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC.

William was born on the family farm in Bayard, SK where he formed a love of farming. He worked at various jobs before moving to Valleyview, AB in 1960 with his wife Olga and their 4 children. In 1965 William moved the family to their homestead in the Valleyview area where he pursued his dreams until he retired from farming in 1994. William and Olga left Valleyview and moved to Cranbrook for a time and then moved on to Saskatoon.

William was predeceased by his parents, his wife Olga, a brother and sister and numerous step and half siblings.

A private Celebration Of William’s Life will be held by the immediate family. William will be Interred in the veteran’s area of the Saskatoon Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the: Parkinson Society of British Columbia, 600, 890 – West Pender Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6C 1J9.
