It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Brian Zirk announce his passing on Monday, October 1, 2018 in Cranbrook at 59 years of age.

Brian was born in Cranbrook on July 28, 1959; he was an amazing man, taken much too early from us. Brian was a devoted husband and the best dad/best friend his two sons could have asked for. Brian was a pipefitter but his colleagues would better describe him as an artist in a mechanical room. Brian was an avid hockey fan; and quite the player in his day. Brian will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Left to mourn Brian’s passing are his wife Lori, his sons Lee and Taylor, daughter-in-law Nicole, granddaughters Kayla and Brynlee, his mother Joan, his brother Paul (Colleen), sister Maryanne (Ron), brother John (Cindy), nieces and nephews Desiree, Sheldon, Jon David, Allura, Jenny, Megan, Nick, Mike, Rebecca, Leslie and Garrett and his best friends John and Debbie. Brian was predeceased by his father Ed Zirk.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
