ROBERTS, GARY BENJAMIN

MARCH 29, 1944 – MAY 11, 2019

It is with great sadness the Roberts family Patriarch, Gary Benjamin Roberts passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 12:30 am at the age of 75.

He worked in the bush as a logger and a faller for 17 years.  After that he worked with Canadian Pacific railway starting in 1974 and went on to retire with them. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish.  Gary also loved to teach his two sons, Paul and Dean, how to shoot and hunt and they followed in his footsteps. He enjoyed to sit around the table or fire pit and reminisce on all the hunting and fishing trips they took.  He shared many memories of his father, Grant and their many hunting adventures.

His favorite to people was his dogs, Rusty and Charlie.  They would walk for miles together and near the end of Gary’s hunting career, Charlie had the ears to their partnership. Gary will be greatly missed by his wife of 49 years, Diane and his two sons Paul Roberts and his wife Tarah and their two children; Brandy and Darcy and Dean Roberts and his daughter Shannon Roberts and her daughter Avianna and son Tayden. Gary Roberts had three grandkids and two great grandkids.
