SEPTEMBER 12, 1935 – MAY 5, 2018
Dad’s (Glen, Chester, Grampa, Great-Grampy) Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 2nd at 3:00 pm. The celebration will be held at the Eagle’s Hall in Cranbrook, BC (715 Kootenay St N).
The family would like to request that everyone wear something red in honour of Glen’s strong advocacy for “Red Fridays” in support of our Canadian troops. We would also ask that if you play a musical instrument, please bring it with you as we plan to have an acoustic “song circle”…..one of Dad’s favourite styles of musical events.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to your local Minor Hockey Association (or similar local youth sport program) as Dad strongly believed in sports being a rudimentary requirement for youth and leadership. Or, if you wish, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice.
