Judith Georgina (nee Johnson) ATWOOD

It is with great sadness the family of Judy Atwood announce her death, after a brief illness, on December 17, 2018 in the East Kootenay Regional Hospital. She was 77 years old.

Judy was born on January 24, 1941 in the Fernie Hospital. She spent her entire life living in the area. She married Max Atwood on December 10, 1960 and together they raised their five daughters in Jaffray. Judy enjoyed living in Jaffray and often told people that. She worked throughout her lifetime at various places including the Evergreen, the Cranbrook & District Hospital, Ram Creek Outfitters and Jaffray Sports. Family meant everything to her.

Judy was predeceased by her parents Fritz and Madelyn Johnson, her husband Max and her sister Joyce. She is survived by her daughters Alana, Shannon, Renee (Kevin) Webster, Maxine (Myles) Sandberg, and Angie (Derek) Jones, her brother Alan (Emily) Johnson, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
