Michael O’Grady passed away at East Kootenay Regional Hospital surrounded by family on Thursday, September 13, 2018.

Mike was born in Kimberley, BC on April 18, 1951.

Mike is survived by his children Thora O’Grady and Jonathan (Kama) O’Grady; his grandchildren Lanita, Jaden, Kieran, Bowen and Libby; his great granddaughter Heidi; siblings Fred (Patti) Blocksidge, Frank (Mary) O’Grady, Thora (Bill) O’Grady/Vogel and Thelma (Ken) O’Grady/Pepin; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Mike loved nature, the outdoors and the time spent with family and friends. He was a caring friend who impacted many lives. He was always willing to lend a hand, share his knowledge or offer advice.

The family asks that you raise a glass in his memory and cherish the time you spend with those you love.
