BALDWIN, RAY ERNEST “ERNIE”
APRIL 16, 1954 – JULY 13, 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father Ernie Baldwin.
Ernie is survived by his loving children, daughter Stacey (Scott) and son Curtis (Chantal). Also survived by his father Ray (Teresa), brothers David (Debbie) and Jim (Val), sister Gail Lambert (Ed), grandchildren Kaden, Jaren, Keaton, Addy and Hunter and his children’s mother Deb (Rob).
He will be missed by many friends and family in Ottawa, Chilliwack and Cranbrook especially his chosen extended family Carmen and Megan Rubeniuk, Larry, Marg, Amber and Ashley Sandmoen, Ron Harasiuk and Cheryl Nelligan and Bruce and Annie Jardine.
Predeceased by his mother Gwen Easey and his step father Bert Easey.
Our Dad enjoyed a good laugh, good music, good people and good fishing. He had the unique ability to find humour in everything and he had the best, most contagious laugh. He had a passion for fishing. Whether it be summers spent fishing in his boat or ice fishing in the winter he could always be found out on a lake or river waiting for the perfect catch.
Special thanks to Dr. Caroline Shilhan for taking such great care of our Dad over the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Chilliwack on September 23, 2018.
