On Saturday, August 19, 2017, Margaret Edwina Caldwell passed away peacefully at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook with family by her side. She was born in Duncan, BC on December 31, 1942 to parents Edwin and Rhoda Whalley.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Jim Caldwell, her son Gary Caldwell (Diane), and her daughter Linda Yamada (Eiji), grandchildren Shane and Cory Caldwell, Kaiya Yamada and Rhylynn Fowler, and sisters Eleanor Howe and Rhonda Whalley as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Beverley Herzog.

Margaret lived on Caldwell Road from 1961 until her passing. She loved the country and shared many wonderful times with her family and friends at the farm. Margaret was a very “Special Lady” and will remain forever in our hearts. Until we meet again …..
